The EVNO BSX2 Double Bassoon microphone setup is designed and manufactured by hand in the USA. The microphone setup is designed specifically for bassoon to produce the most natural reproduction of sound possible while allowing for the most gain before feedback.  The double mic setup allows all details of the full range of the instrument. The microphone will allow you to be heard as you sound without coloration giving the audience a true representation of the sound the player works a lifetime to develop.

The BSX2 is mounted with a built-in one piece design clamping onto the middle of the instrument allowing the goosenecks to be positioned over the most crucial areas.  The 5.5in and 6.5in Stay-flex goosenecks allow the microphones to be positioned out of the way of the hand positions and offer flexibility and movement as desired.  The BSX2 is the ultimate choice from solo performance settings, principal soloist’s in all genres.  The system can be used in low to high volume applications without the worry of low end feedback from surrounding instruments.

The BSX2 goosenecks vary in size, placing the longer gooseneck over the boot joint. The goosenecks are designed in the USA, hold position as desired while being lightweight in design.  The microphone itself is built with perfect venting as well as a highly attractive machining process creating a beautiful look while allowing the frequencies of the instrument to fully be captured by the microphone itself.  Suspended in a standard microphone suspension of variable 7 points, the microphone allows for simple and easy replacements of the O rings as needed.  The microphone body is terminated with a 3 pin mini XLR connection which is used for both wired and wireless connections independently.

The microphone system can be used wired or wirelessly.  The EVNO BSX2 is shipped with a PS95 power supply for wired use while still being adaptable and ready to use with EVNO, Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems.  (AKG and Sennheiser cables ordered separately to mate the microphone with another brand wireless or available in a package with the microphone and cable for customers who already own an Evno, AKG, Shure, or Sennheiser system.) The included cable with the BSX2 model works both with the Evno PS95 phantom power adapter, and Shure wireless transmitters.  By-pass the cable to connect to Evno clip-on wireless transmitters creating a completely wire free setup.  Additional packages include the BSX2-Ta4 for direct connection to Shure wireless or with the W1, W2, or Air Wireless

The complete Evno BSX2 setup includes one Evno PS95 power supplies / preamps, Evno integrated Clamp, BSX2 Microphone with 5.5” and 6.5” goosenecks, case, and Ta4 cable.  XLR cables to connect from the PS95 power supply to a mixing console not included. What Is Phantom power?

Phantom power is direct current (DC) electric power that is applied equally to both signal wires of a balanced microphone cable. Phantom power supplies are most often built into mixing consoles and microphone preamps. The purpose of Phantom power is to supply 48 volts of current to microphones that have built-in active circuitry over the same cable that is used to send the microphone’s signal back to the mixer or preamp. Since there is no visible power supply unit (like those common with tube microphones) the term Phantom power is used.

Do you offer a belt pack style transmitter with a volume control?

Yes, Evno offers the A2 belt pack transmitter for musicians who prefer an on-body transmitter. The A2 includes a convenient volume control, allowing players to adjust their sound levels effortlessly.

Do you have a hand held wireless microphone?

Yes, Evno offers the AH handheld microphone which sync’s to the W1, W2, and Air receivers.  The most common setup would be to combine the AH with W2 Dual receiver to have both a wireless horn microphone and hand held active at the same time.
