The EVNO SXST stand mounted saxophone microphone system is designed and manufactured by hand in the USA. The microphone is designed specifically for tenor, alto, and baritone saxophones to produce the most natural reproduction of sound possible while allowing for the most gain before feedback. The microphone will allow you to be heard as you sound without coloration giving the audience a true representation of the sound the player works a lifetime to develop. The SXST clamps to a traditional microphone stand ideal for orchestra’s and pits where movement isn’t required.
The SXST is the perfect choice from solo performance settings, principal soloist’s in all genres, to high energy horn section bands of all styles. The system can be used in low to high volume applications without the worry about the ‘low bark’ or high end feedback from surrounding instruments. The SXST gooseneck, designed in the USA, holds position as desired while being lightweight in design. The microphone itself is built with perfect venting as well as a highly attractive machining process creating a beautiful look while allowing the frequencies of the instrument to fully be captured by the microphone itself. Suspended in a standard microphone suspension of variable 7 points, the microphone allows for simple and easy replacements of the O rings as needed. The microphone body is terminated with a 3 pin mini XLR connection which is used for both wired and wireless connections.
The microphone system can be used wired or wirelessly. The EVNO SXST is shipped with the PS95 power supply for wired use while still being adaptable and ready to use with EVNO, Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems. (AKG and Sennheiser cables ordered separately to mate the microphone with another brand wireless or available in a package with the microphone and cable for customers who already own an Evno, AKG, Shure, or Sennheiser system.) The included cable with the SXST model works both with the Evno PS95 phantom power adapter, and Shure wireless transmitters. By-pass the cable to connect to Envo clip-on wireless transmitters. Additional packages include the SX system with EVNO Wireless or the SX microphone setup directly for use with Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems in it’s clip-on form.
The complete Evno SX setup includes the Evno PS95 power supply / preamp, Evno STCL Clamp, SX Microphone, case, and a cable. XLR cables to connect from the PS95 power supply to a mixing console not included. A standard XLR / Mic cable is required for hardwired connections.

The Clamp attaches to a standard threaded microphone stand which then allows an Evno microphone to be attached to the clamp. A perfect solution for players that sit in a pit, perform with an orchestra, a big band, or any place that where space has limited movement and a clip-on system is not required. Allows for quick and easy placement of an instrument on and off of an instrument stand while not playing. The setup is contained to a traditional microphone stand keeping all cables and power supplies away from your instrument and or music stand. The STCL can be placed on a microphone boom stand to reach over the bell of a saxophone, in front of an acoustic guitar, or on a straight stand at various heights for trumpets and trombones. Evno microphones attach to the clamp by a thumb tightening screw and can be placed either on the body of the microphone for a perfect fit or attached to the gooseneck which allows for alternate positioning as needed. Various placement options allow a nice alternative in home studio use which allows the player to close mic an instrument where traditional large diaphragm microphones may be limited due to space or availability.
