The Evno ABX system boasts an integrated, one-piece design featuring a clamp that attaches to the E and G strings of an acoustic bass. This mounting clamp securely holds the 5.5-inch Stay-flex gooseneck. The Evno ABX system includes a vibration damping plate system, which, in conjunction with the 7-point variable suspension ring, significantly reduces common vibration issues caused by the low frequencies and natural movement produced by an acoustic bass.

The Evno ABX microphone is designed with precision venting and a highly attractive machining process, ensuring a beautiful appearance while capturing the full frequency range of the instrument. The microphone is suspended in our standard suspension with seven variable points, allowing for simple and easy replacement of the O-rings as needed. The microphone body features a 3-pin mini XLR connection, which connects directly to the included PS95 preamp / power supply.

Each Evno ABX unit is shipped with the PS95 power supply for wired use, while also being adaptable for use with Evno, Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems if ever needed. Cables for AKG and Sennheiser systems can be ordered separately or included in a package with the microphone for customers who already own a compatible wireless system from Evno, AKG, Shure, or Sennheiser.

The included cable with the ABX model is compatible with both the Evno PS95 phantom power adapter and Shure wireless transmitters. To use the system wirelessly, simply bypass the cable and connect the microphone to an Evno clip-on wireless transmitter. Though wireless with acoustic bass isn’t normally needed, they're maybe a situation where a show orchestra needs to move around on stage. A wireless option may assist to quickly move the instrument on and off in times like this.

What Is Phantom power?

Phantom power is direct current (DC) electric power that is applied equally to both signal wires of a balanced microphone cable. Phantom power supplies are most often built into mixing consoles and microphone preamps. The purpose of Phantom power is to supply 48 volts of current to microphones that have built-in active circuitry over the same cable that is used to send the microphone’s signal back to the mixer or preamp. Since there is no visible power supply unit (like those common with tube microphones) the term Phantom power is used.

Do you offer a belt pack style transmitter with a volume control?

Yes, Evno offers the A2 belt pack transmitter for musicians who prefer an on-body transmitter. The A2 includes a convenient volume control, allowing players to adjust their sound levels effortlessly.

Do you have a hand held wireless microphone?

Yes, Evno offers the AH handheld microphone which sync’s to the W1, W2, and Air receivers.  The most common setup would be to combine the AH with W2 Dual receiver to have both a wireless horn microphone and hand held active at the same time.

Evno windscreens are available in two sizes, tailored to fit the two different sizes of capsule shells. These windscreens are included with each microphone but use is optional designed to protect the microphone diaphragm from gusts of air, which can occur in windy conditions. They are particularly beneficial for more aggressive players who produce higher volume levels, as the resulting wind stream can be on occasion be noticed. The windscreens help enhance sound by reducing breath noise. Conversely, for softer players, the breath noise produced on certain instruments may be a deliberate part of their sound, making the use of a windscreen less desirable.

EVNO Microphones are designed to be versatile and compatible with a range of wireless systems through the use of specific cables. It is crucial to use the correct cables to ensure optimal performance and to avoid damaging the microphone capsule. 


Evno Microphone Systems makes it possible to use a wireless system from other major brands. Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, and McCormick are all compatible with an Evno microphone. Note: These options operate with a traditional belt pack style transmitter and only an Evno Wireless system offers the belt pack free option. 


The optional OR replacement cable is setup for the customer that already owns a wireless system from one of these brands. The Ta4 is also compatible with the PS95 Preamp / power supply for hard wired use.

W1 - TRUE DIVERSITY

The Evno W1 is the flag-ship wireless setup in the Evno wireless line.  The W1 offers a True Diversity antenna system which provides the greatest distance at about 150meters.  The Evno W1 True Diversity operates two antennas and two receivers at the same time while combining the audio.  The antenna system switches the audio between antenna A and B depending on which antenna signal is stronger at the position on the stage.  A True Diversity system is more stable and advanced as it also offers greater range as apposed to a diversity system with a single or double antenna.


The W1 is housed in a metal chassis with 1-XLR and 1-1/4in output. A 1/2 rack-mountable design, the system come with a rack-kit and extension cables to place in a standard rack unit.  The extension kit places the antennas on the front of the of the rack case allowing quick removal of the antennas for storage. The antennas disconnect with an BNC locking connector to either the back or front when racked.  
Powered by an included 12V power supply is easy to setup. The available 99 channels are changed with with a sync’ing process that sends the signal from the receiver to the transmitters with IR.  Easy to change quickly on stage. Use of 5-6 systems simultaneously allows for horn style bands of all types to use an Evno belt-pack free wireless system.  The W1 can also be used along side the Air and W2 systems and are not only compatible with both but also compatible with the A2, AH, and A4 transmitters. *Dependent on region and availability.

The Evno Air is compact yet powerful professional wireless system, perfect for travel. Complete with 1/4 inch output ideal for microphone inputs and D.I. boxes. The Air system is ideal for quick setups and travel while maintaining a high sonic quality in combination with an Evno designed microphone. Using the same technology as the W1 and W2 systems the Air is Evno’s compact version. Folding antennas and a small footprint allow for portability in a compact setup. Powered by a provided 9V power supply the system also offers a battery option for power. Using 2 (AA) batteries in the receiver powers the system for 4 hours of continuous use in situations where the power is not available making it possible to use the system in remote locations as needed.

The Air system is available in the 900-928MHz range for the United States, Brazil, Canada, and other free frequency regions while the 823-832Mhz range is setup for most territories in Europe. **see chart below for more information. The Evno W2 is a dual wireless system specifically designed to accommodate two Evno microphones active at the same time. This allows for the player to use any combination of Evno microphones wireless at the same. A flute, clarinet, or saxophone etc, can both be active to use at the same time depending on what your particular needs maybe. Independent (2) XLR outputs offer separate control of each microphone / transmitter for greater control of EQ and volume over each channel. The W2 offers a Diversity antenna system which provides a distance at about 100meters.

The Evno W2 dual wireless operates two separate antennas, one for each side of the receiver / microphone / transmitter. The W2 is housed in a metal chassis with 2-XLR and 1-1/4in output which mirrors side in the case where you need a 1/4in output.
