Evno VLX Violin Microphone

Evno Microphone systems has launched the most solid clip-on microphone on the market. A microphone designed to work in many performance settings with or without wireless. Choose wired for non-wireless use, or complete wireless packages with the A1 Clip-on transmitter or the A2 belt pack transmitter if keeping the wireless off the instrument with a volume control is desired. The newly designed suspension offers the smallest vibration reducing suspension on the market with a microphone head that can fit up close to the instrument as needed. 

The EVNO VLX violin and viola microphone system is meticulously handcrafted in the USA to provide the most authentic sound reproduction for violin and viola players. This specialized microphone is engineered to capture the true essence of the instrument’s sound, ensuring that the audience hears an accurate and natural representation of the musician’s performance. It maximizes gain before feedback, allowing the performer’s unique tone, developed over years of practice, to be delivered clearly and without any coloration. Crafted with the smallest suspension microphone head on the microphone the microphone is a low profile design setup on a right angle to place the microphone in various areas as desired.

The VLX is the ideal choice for solo performances and principal soloists across various genres, from classical orchestras and jazz ensembles to bluegrass bands. This versatile system can be used in both low and high-volume settings. The EVNO VLX-CL clamp features a robust and sturdy design, ensuring it stays securely in place. It allows for quick and easy removal and can be re-positioned on the instrument as needed. The microphone’s slim body fits into the clamp for a strong hold, and its right-angle design directs the gooseneck towards the sound source, allowing the microphone head to be adjusted to various positions. The clamp is easy to attach and detach from the instrument and is heavily padded with recessed rubber to prevent damage. It tightens with a thumb screw, and a secondary thumb screw secures the microphone's body in the slotted provision. The clamp can open from 33.4mm (1.3 inches) to a maximum of 50.8mm (2 inches).

The EVNO VLX violin microphone is designed with precision venting and a highly attractive machining process, ensuring a beautiful appearance while capturing the full frequency range of the instrument. The microphone is suspended in an acetal small designed suspension with seven variable points, allowing for simple and easy replacement of the O-rings as needed. The use of acetal material helps to keep the system lightweight. The microphone body features a 3-pin mini XLR connection, which supports both wired and wireless setups. The EVNO VLX microphone system can be used in both wired and wireless configurations.

The EVNO VLX unit is shipped with the PS95 power supply for wired use, while also being adaptable for use with EVNO, Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems. Cables for AKG and Sennheiser systems can be ordered separately or included in a package with the microphone for customers who already own a compatible wireless system from EVNO, AKG, Shure, or Sennheiser. Packages with Evno designed wireless is also available for complete wireless setups. (See Air, W1, and W2 packages) Complete wire-free operation is possible with the A1 transmitter and for even lower profile, combine the microphone with the A4 belt pack transmitter which includes a volume control. The included cable with the VLX model is compatible with both the EVNO PS95 phantom power adapter and Shure wireless transmitters. To use the system wirelessly, simply bypass the cable and connect the microphone to an EVNO clip-on wireless transmitter. Additional packages are available, including the VLX system with an EVNO Wireless setup, or the VLX microphone configured directly for use with Shure, AKG, or Sennheiser wireless systems.

The complete wired Evno VLX setup includes the Evno PS95 power supply / preamp, Evno VLX-CL Clamp, VLX Microphone, case, and a cable. XLR cables to connect from the PS95 power supply to a mixing console not included. A standard XLR / Mic cable is required for hardwired connections.

Additional packages are included in complete wireless packages or available for use with other brands of wireless as needed.
