The Evno W1 is the flag-ship wireless setup in the Evno wireless line. The W1 offers a True Diversity antenna system which provides the greatest distance at about 150meters. The Evno W1 True Diversity operates two antennas and two receivers at the same time while combining the audio. The antenna system switches the audio between antenna A and B depending on which antenna signal is stronger at the position on the stage. A True Diversity system is more stable and advanced as it also offers greater range as apposed to a diversity system with a single or double antenna.
The W1 is housed in a metal chassis with 1-XLR and 1-1/4in output. A 1/2 rack-mountable design, the system come with a rack-kit and extension cables to place in a standard rack unit. The extension kit places the antennas on the front of the of the rack case allowing quick removal of the antennas for storage. The antennas disconnect with an BNC locking connector to either the back or front when racked.
Powered by an included 12V power supply is easy to setup. The available 99 channels are changed with with a sync’ing process that sends the signal from the receiver to the transmitters with IR. Easy to change quickly on stage. Use of 5-6 systems simultaneously allows for horn style bands of all types to use an Evno belt-pack free wireless system. The W1 can also be used along side the Air and W2 systems and are not only compatible with both but also compatible with the A2, AH, and A4 transmitters. *Dependent on region and availability.
The W1 system is available in the 900-928MHz range for the United States, Brazil, Canada, and other free frequency regions while the 823-832Mhz range is setup for most territories in Europe. **see chart below for more information.
The W1 system is shipped with a rack-kit, antennas, 12V power supply, extension cables, and the A1 transmitter to combine with an Evno microphone. The system in combination with an Evno microphone produces the most natural reproduction of an acoustic instrument on the market.
The Evno W1 Wireless System offers a complete package for musicians seeking a True Diversity, rack mountable, high-quality wireless solution for their Evno Microphone. The system includes all necessary components to ensure a seamless and reliable performance experience. Here’s what’s included:
The EVNO SPX1 soprano saxophone microphone system is designed and manufactured by hand in the USA. The microphone is designed specifically for soprano saxophone. A bell mounted single setup designed to produce the most gain before feedback. The single microphone design is geared to be light weight in design while allowing the most crucial area of the instrument to be reproduced in a single microphone design. The SPX1 microphone design is tuned specifically for soprano and suited to address all the problems that are common in mic’ing a soprano saxophone.
The SPX1 is the perfect choice for higher volume settings for solo performance, principal soloist’s in all genres, to high energy horn section bands of all styles. The system can be used in low to high volume applications without the worry of saturating the element due to volume or high end feedback from surrounding instruments. The SPX1 is the ideal choice for soprano players also playing in a section and who may also want to use on alto, tenor, or Bari as well. Removing the microphone from its extension shaft and re-positioning the microphone body on to an alto, tenor, or bari bell is possible.
The newly designed clamp allows for perfect placement on the bell of the soprano by putting the upper head of the microphone at the perfect point above the keys and the lower microphone in front of the bell. The gooseneck allows movement away from the bell as needed to accommodate fingers and key movement. The microphone is easy to clamp on and take off the bell with a spring loaded clamp while always being attached at the perfect height. The clamp is attached to the instrument with a loaded spring but also includes a reinforcement screw if your movement on stage is extreme. The SXCL clamp also allow the player to use the same clamp with the Evno SX tenor, alto, and baritone saxophone microphone as needed with the SX tenor, alto and Bari microphone. The SPX1 Stay-Flex gooseneck, designed in the USA, holds position as desired while being lightweight in design. The microphone itself is built with perfect venting as well as a highly attractive machining process creating a beautiful look while allowing the frequencies of the instrument to fully be captured by the microphone itself. Suspended in a standard variable 7 point suspension ring, the microphone allows for simple and easy replacements of the O rings as needed. The microphone body is terminated with a 3 pin mini XLR connection which is used for both wired and wireless connections.

Please see our education page for more information.
What Is Phantom power?
Phantom power is direct current (DC) electric power that is applied equally to both signal wires of a balanced microphone cable. Phantom power supplies are most often built into mixing consoles and microphone preamps. The purpose of Phantom power is to supply 48 volts of current to microphones that have built-in active circuitry over the same cable that is used to send the microphone’s signal back to the mixer or preamp. Since there is no visible power supply unit (like those common with tube microphones) the term Phantom power is used.
Do you offer a belt pack style transmitter with a volume control?
Yes, Evno offers the A2 belt pack transmitter for musicians who prefer an on-body transmitter. The A2 includes a convenient volume control, allowing players to adjust their sound levels effortlessly.
Do you have a hand held wireless microphone?
Yes, Evno offers the AH handheld microphone which sync’s to the W1, W2, and Air receivers. The most common setup would be to combine the AH with W2 Dual receiver to have both a wireless horn microphone and hand held active at the same time.
